Open Hands 4 the Fatherless is a response to the call to love and defend the fatherless. To learn about our testimony and how we began, click on "The Beginnings of OH4F" under the "About Us" Tab.
Open Hands 4 the Fatherless seeks to "extend the same mercy (to orphans) that was extended to us, and we do it in tangible ways" (Matt Maher). Tangible ways such as building villages to provide a roof over their heads, a place to sleep at night, meals everyday, clean water to drink, schools for education, Mama's to take care of them, all facilitated by a local Bible believing church. Eventually facilitating the process of building local businesses to become self-sufficient.
Open Hands 4 the Fatherless partners with Coreluv International to direct the plans for the building of the village. OH4F is responsible for raising funds for financial sponsorship in the building process of the Myan orphanage and helping in providing core needs for the children in the orphanage. All of this will be facilitated by working with local Haitian pastors/members of the Myan and Gonaives community and an American based ministry in Haiti.
Open Hands 4 the Fatherless envisions engaging the communities or "spheres of influence" (Beth Moore) and churches of OH4F members to not only donate financially, but more importantly, donate members' time with love. This can be fulfilled through our Vision Trips to Haiti, visiting and experiencing the love of God's children, thus spreading the vision exponentially to those who attended and their communities. OH4F will also be funded by Lincoln County Pharmacy.
Open Hands 4 the Fatherless will eventually provide grants and scholarships to families seeking to adopt internationally.
